- Grade 1 Teacher
Mrs. Nicholas and her family recently moved to Sarasota from Granger, IN where she taught pre-school and kindergarten in a faith-based early learning center. Previous to that, Mrs. Nicholas lived in Cincinnati where she met her husband, raised her children, and eventually made the later-in-life decision to go back to school and earn her degree in early childhood education. After teaching in both public and private schools, Mrs. Nicholas is excited to have joined the ICS family where she can continue to teach children in the faith as well as help them to grow both academically and socially. Mrs. Nicholas and her husband have a blended family with five children, the youngest attending USF Sarasota-Manatee. Her leisure time is spent with her family, getting to know the local culture, relaxing on the beach, walking, kayaking, reading and exercising.
