Teacher Certifications
All teachers hold Bachelor’s degrees and are certified by the State of Florida in their grade level and/or subject area. Many teachers have earned a Master’s degree or higher.
Technology for Teaching and Learning
Each classroom is equipped with an ActivBoard or flat-screen TV. Three rooms have the newest technology of interactive flat panel ClearTouch displays. FACTS Family Portal is used for online grades and homework assignments. Over 150 Google Chromebooks and computers are available for student and teacher use. The school has licenses for educational software and is a Google Apps for Education school.
Campus Security
All staff members have been fingerprinted and completed the Safe Environment Training to meet Diocese of Venice requirements. Twenty security cameras monitor the school’s property throughout the day. All classroom doors remain locked during the day. Teachers monitor students whenever outside the classrooms.
Parent Involvement
Parents are an integral part of the ICS family. Volunteer opportunities are available and families are encouraged to participate and share their time and talents.
Parish Involvement
Parishioners of Incarnation Catholic Church support the school by participating in fundraising and social activities.
